The prime institute is a core group of participants who are actively working on research projects and contributing to Rhea during a given term. The Summer 2010 institute consists of Matt Davis, Jamie Weigandt, and James Ryan.

Matt Davis and Jamie Weigandt will be examining the ABC conjecture over Number Fields, and using the data in Cremona's tables of elliptic curves to search for atypical ABC triples.
