Periodic versus non-periodic functions (hw1, ECE301)

Read the instructor's comments here.

Periodic Functions

A good example of periodic function would be the Cosine function. Notice that it repeat itself time to time with a period of $ 2\pi $

Non-Periodic Functions

A good example for non-periodic functions would be $ y = x^2 $ . $ y $ will increase without fail while $ x $ increases.
