About Rhea Liaisons

Liaisons provide links between Rhea and the "real world". Liaisons are displayed in boxes on the right hand side of the rhea pages. By clicking on the boxe, one gets to a web page containing the information pertaining to that particular liaison. There are different types of liaisons.

  • Alumni Liaisons are for Purdue alumni to share messages with Purdue students. For example, an alumnus who found a particular class helpful in his career could use a liaison to share this fact with the students currently taking that class.
  • Technology Liaisons are for connecting technology to the material discussed on Rhea.
  • Industry Liaisons are for connecting industry to certain groups of students using Rhea. For example, a company organizing a presentation on campus of engineering students could use a liaison box to advertise this event to a specific class.
  • Employment Liaisons are for companies seeking job applicants with a certain expertise
