In Lecture 32, we quickly reviewed the binomial formula before finishing the example of a random step process that we had started in the previous lecture. After that, we looked at a couple of sum processes. In particular, we obtain a formula for the pdf of a sum of independent random variables (namely, the convolution of their respective pdf's).

Action items for students (to be completed before next lecture)
