BIO

I grew up in the Chicago region and lived in Riverdale and Tinley Park Illinois before moving to Indiana where I graduated Munster High School and I have always had a great curiosity for all things mechanical or electronic. When I was young, I could never resist the temptation to dismantle anything I could get my hands on and explore the inner workings of almost any given device.

Before coming to Purdue I knew that I wanted to either join the Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology programs. I would definitely encourage anybody who enjoys learning about natural sciences and technology and is unsure of their future major to consider dropping-in on lectures and labs, or talking with professors in the department.

About my Major

The College of Technology places a emphasis on computer simulation and laboratory observations to confirm the principals explored in class. In EET this often means manually calculating the behavior of circuits, simulating the circuit using spice models, confirming the results with MATLAB and finally testing the circuit in lab.
