Coke-tap with my buddy John Pemberton

I am a Graduate Research Assistant in the Video and Image Processing Laboratory (VIPER) and the Computational Imaging Laboratory (CIL) in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Purdue University, under the direction of Professor Edward J. Delp and Professor Mireille Boutin. I am also a M.S. student in ECE at Purdue University. I am the Public Relations Director of Project Rhea, and the Chair for the Social Committee of the ECE Graduate Student Association.

I received the B.S. in Superior Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), in Barcelona (Spain). I worked as a Visiting Scholar/Researcher in the VIPER lab during my last year of undergrad.

If you have read until here you're fine. Go outside if it's sunny, play soccer, or just take a walk. If you're taking a break from studying/working or you like to procrastinate here's some more information about me:

Work @ VIPER and CIL

  • I work for the Visual Analytics for Command, Control, and Interoperability Environments (VACCINE), a United States Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence.

These are the main projects I've worked on since I'm here at Purdue:

  • 2010 - present: Gang Graffiti Recognition and Analysis Using a Mobile Telephone - Android platform
  • 2009 - 2010: Spanish-English Restaurant Menu Translation and Context Interpretation for Hand-held Devices - iPhone platform

If you want to know more about me, check my personal webpage at Purdue University.

Work @ Rhea

As I've said before, I'm the Public Relations Director of Project Rhea. My job consists of helping companies

We are introducing new initiatives as part of Rhea's "Liaison Program", which aims to connect Purdue students with the real world. You can learn a bit more about this program on the following page:

Ok, I don't know what else to talk about. If you are so bored, go and check the Google+ website and refresh it until you can get an account. Good luck!
