Due by 5pm, Tuesday February 23, 2010, in my Rhea dropbox. --Mboutin 09:49, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Experiment with Bayes rule for normally distributed features. Summarize your experiments, results, and conclusions in a report (pdf). Make sure to include your code.
  • Suggestion: Experiment first with 2D features, and subsequently move on to a higher dimensional space (e.g., n=27).
  • Using Freemat/R is recommended.
  • Have fun!

Note: If you are not sure what to do, you may take a look at the statement of hw1, 2008 statement for inspiration.
