PRiME with Prof. Walther, Summer 2012 (Math REU)
This page is for commentary/discussion on the reading experience in Uli Walther's REU project in the summer of 2012.
The goal is to understand basic facts about:
- groups Groups: Daniel , Groups Continued: Katie
- knots, specifically the
- fundamental group of a
- topological space (usually a manifold)
- prime numbers
- and maybe other things.
