Well, I have a question - How often are we supposed to make changes to Rhea? I know at the beginning of the class, Prof. Walther mentioned that we each had to do something here before midnight every Sunday, but is that just a general rule, or will there be specific assignments each week, like there was last week?

Does anyone know, or are we all in the same boat here?

-Tim

I'm awful at editing with this thing, so I didn't know how else to respond to you other than adding on to your little message. I don't know what the deal is either. I hope it's not just that we need to submit random things by Sunday nights of every week. Is it just discussing the homework each week? If not, what else do we discuss, and where do we put it??

-Alissa

I feel like it may be useful build a page of strategies, tricks, etc for some of the proofs we have to write. We are already familiar, of course, with strategies like proof by contradiction or using induction, but some of the theorems we learn in class have clever applications and so on.

Answer:

Each of you is supposed to do something on Rhea each week. You may write what you like, where you like it. You may create new pages, or links between existing pages, or post movies or illustrations or whatever. Be inventive, go with your guts. If you want to know the answer to a question, ask for it. If you have an idea to somebody else's question, state it. If you feel lost, explain what confuses you.

Regarding "I'm awful with editing with this thing": look at other's peoples posts, this is by far the best way to figure out how to do something that you have seen elsewhere.

Regarding "Where do we put it": wherever you think it belongs. This may be on existing pages, or on a page that you create specifically for that purpose.

Main rule: don't be shy!

uli.

I'm just a bit lost on how to find all the pages that have been made on this site. The navigation menu at the side doesn't link to everything that's out there I'm sure. Any suggestions here?

-Chris
