My favorite theorem is the "Party Hat" Theorem, taught to me by one of my favorite math teachers. It's a simple geometric theory that says two line segments tangent to a circle meeting at a point outside the circle are of equal length. My favorite theorem is the "Party Hat" Theorem, taught to me by one of my favorite math teachers. It's a simple geometric theory that says two line segments tangent to a circle meeting at a point outside the circle are of equal length. I don't particularly like it so much for it's usefulness, more because it was taught in a very "interesting" fashion.
