My favorite theorem is Fermat's Last theorem_MA375Fall2008walther which was recently solved by Andrew Wiles and that has a great story of its own.

The theorem simply says :- If an integer n is greater than 2, then the equation $ a^n + b^n = c^n $ has no solutions in non-zero integers a, b, and c.
