My favorite theorem is the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. I choose this theorem because I think it is the most important mathematical proof I have learned thus far. It allows you to find the area under a function by computing numerous anti-derivatives.

Since I am majoring in engineering it is something that comes up almost every day, and without this proof engineering would be a much different field.
