Math Ed needing problems to start off a high school class

For one of our math ed classes, we come up with little word problems to start the day off. Things like: "If you have 8 adults and 2 children and you need to get them across the river with one canoe, how many trips will it take. Given that the canoe can hold: one adult, one child, two children."

Anyone have any good problems for us to use?
