  • A Memoryless system is one in which all the outputs of the system, are only based on present inputs, not past or future inputs.
  • A System is said to have memory if at least one output is based upon either a future or past input.

[In mathematical terms] A system has memory if $ \exists x(t) $ where t $ \ne $ the t in y(t)
