Some people were confused as to whether they should take the probability to ^365 or *365 to account for an entire year. If you think about the probability that it happens ONCE in an entire year you can picture it is the union of the probability for each day. Mathematically the union of 365 probabilites is the same as their sum. Since they have the same probability it is simply 365*p.

Note, this only accounts for the probability of ONE connection for an entire year.
