I think this isn't fair, especially to kids who try to do well and get the 6th highest grade out of 40 people and get a B. I know in calculus, a lot of people did not have a high percentage for a grade so giving out a certain amount of A's, B's, etc ... ensured that not as many people would fail. Also if we were on the regular scale, there would be less people getting higher grades since the classes are harder then other classes. |

I'm not sure how the math system works. Even though the people with higher grades do have to compete to get an A, it does make sure that not a lot of people fail.
