# HW2no5

Any suggestions on doing this problem?

Try using similar triangles for instance tri APB and EPD using what we know about parallel lines and angles, you should be able to prove those two as similar triangles. Then use the proportions keeping in mind E is the midpoint of DC and DC=AB. There is also another set of similar triangles you need to use but hopefully this will get you started. Good luck!

[[thanks for the tip. This was the one problem I could not get. Sometimes jsut a hint gets me going. [[I was able to prove taht angles SRT and STR were equal and than hence the angles are equal. Hope this was right. Seemed almost too easy.
