Short Biography

Erin Robertson is a life-long Hoosier who is very familiar with many of the economic issues facing the residents of central Indiana. She currently serves as an Associate Individual Consultant in the Carmel, IN office of TIAA-CREF Individual and Institutional Services, LLC. In this role, her duties include providing financial education seminars to employees of client institutions and interacting one-on-one with plan participants to answer their questions regarding retirement accounts and other financial products. Before joining TIAA-CREF, Erin has held various positions in the mortgage, credit counseling and financial services field, serving as Director of Mortgage and Credit Services for the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership; Mortgage Processor at Irwin Mortgage; Director of Counseling at MHS, LLC; Counselor at Momentive Consumer Counseling Service and Tax Associate at H&R Block. Erin is also an adjunct faculty member at both Indiana State University and Ivy Tech Community College in the Business Administration area. Erin received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in 2000 and her Master of Business Administration degree from Anderson University in 2004. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™. Erin also has received the Indiana Homeownership Education and Counseling certification and has been certified as a Professional Credit Executive by Credit Professionals International. She has extensive continuing education in mortgage financing, financial planning, leadership and human relations. Erin serves on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the Programs Committee of Family Development Services (Head Start), the Services Planning Committee of Family Service Association of Central Indiana, the Education Committee of the Greater Indianapolis Mortgage Bankers Association and the Family Selection Committee of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis. She is an active member of the Indianapolis chapter of Credit Professionals International and of the Greater Indiana Financial Planning Association. Additionally, Erin volunteers for The Stroke Network as a contributing writer and for the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana as a peer mentor for stroke patients and their caregivers.
