Do Purdue Professors do enough to prevent cheating?
You all heard that 10 students were recently caught cheating in a 200 level engineering course. Is cheating a widespread problem at Purdue? Do you think that Professors are doing everything they can to prevent cheating?
- I think professors do a fair amount to prevent cheating which is mainstream. They give a basic cheating policy "basically do not cheat", and do measures like giving different forms of exams. One improvement I would like is concrete expectations for how much "working together" you can do on homework.
