Today we continued modeling the vocal tract as a sequence of tubes. After having obtained a matrix equation describing the time delay resulting from going through a tube (viewed in the z-domain), we obtained a matrix equation describing the effect of going from one tube to the next (i.e. abrupt change of cross-section area).

Action Items

  • Start working on HW 10. It is due Monday.
