Today we will talk about Fourier series.

Today we talked about Fourier series. I gave a few examples of the computation of the Fourier series of a CT periodic signal, emphasizing that sometimes one does not need to use the integral formula. I made the distinction between the Fourier series coefficients, and the Fourier series. After that we moved on to DT Fourier series. I gave the definition and pointed out that, in contrast with the CT Fourier series, the DT Fourier series has a finite number of terms. Next lecture, I will give examples of computations of DT Fourier series coefficients. It still not be a bad thing if  you tried the corresponding practice problem before hand, just to see if you notice the subtle differences with CT.

Today we talked about Fourier series. I gave a few examples of the computation of the Fourier series of a CT periodic signal, emphasizing that sometimes one does not need to use the integral formula.
