To display the recent changes for a given course, you need to know the unique category associated with that course. This category is displayed at the bottom of the course page. For example, for the Fall 2009 edition of the course ECE438 taught by Prof. Boutin (see the course page here), the category is ECE438Fall2009mboutin.
Once you know the category of this course, simply press the "Recent changes" tab in the tab (black banner) above. Somewhere near the top of the page, you will see a line that starts with "Limit to categories (separate with "|")". Just enter the unique course category in that box and click "Go".
