Dropbox issues and feedback

  • Can you create a button that allows us to preview the file in the dropbox without downloading? --Klbouman 14:52, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
  • Could you create a feature to have folders within the dropbox? The folders could be private or public. If you create a public folder, when other people drop a file into your dropbox they are given the option to drop it in one of the folders (with a drop down menu). This would provide a simple way for students to be able to organize their homework submissions for professors. It could also be useful if students are working on a project and they want to organize their files in a folder specifically for that project. --Klbouman 17:39, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
  • Could you create a shared folder feature for the dropbox? A shared folder could hold files that a group of people would need to use. A student/professor could create a shared folder, and students could request permission to see the contents of the folder and download files from it or upload files into it. --Klbouman 10:37, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
  • If you upload a file with an apostrophe (') in it you are unable to open the file or delete it--Klbouman 17:34, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
    • This is fixed now, although your test files may not work; any newly uploaded files will be fine. masonz 13 August 2009
  • When are we going to have the option to erase some files in our dropbox?
    • Deleting files works now! masonz 11 August 2009
  • Can you create a feature to drop files into our own dropbox? --Klbouman 14:52, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
    • Yes, the upload file form now appears on your own dropbox. masonz 11 August 2009
